There are three main types of digital designers:

WEB DESIGNERS - who design websites.

UX DESIGNERS - create systems with INTERACTIONS between companies and the public: such as APPS, GAMES, and INTERACTIVE PAGES.

GRAPHIC DESIGNERS - design static IMAGES that may contain TEXT for the purpose of infographics, digital illustration, or advertising.  Because graphic designers also need to think of their work spreading out across both the digital and printed market, and are often only differentiated by a mere change of color mode or "bleed areas, we will consider that

PRINTING DESIGN -- is in fact just another aspect of Digital Design - created on the same software, but simply changing the final output numerics.
